REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to digital products, online courses, coaching programmes and other services purchased from Charmain Wilkinson trading as Rebalance & Restore.
Our aim is to treat customers fairly while also protecting the time, work and intellectual property involved in creating and delivering our products and services.
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
1. DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Our digital products may include audio recordings, workbooks, guides, courses, downloadable resources and other digital content.
Because digital products can be accessed and used immediately, different cancellation rules can apply to digital content compared with physical products.
If you purchase a digital product and choose to receive it immediately, you may be asked to:
• expressly agree to the digital content being supplied immediately; and
• acknowledge that you will lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right once supply of the digital content begins.
Where these requirements have been properly completed before the digital content is supplied, you will not normally have a right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind after accessing the digital product.
If the required consent and acknowledgement have not been obtained, your statutory cancellation rights will not be removed.
2. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND
Where the law gives you a right to cancel, you can contact us to exercise that right.
Please email:
hello@rebalanceandrestoremethod.com
Please include your name, the product or service purchased and, where possible, the date of purchase.
You do not have to provide a reason for cancelling where you are exercising a statutory right to cancel.
3. FAULTY OR DEFECTIVE DIGITAL PRODUCTS
If a digital product is faulty, does not work as described, is not of satisfactory quality or does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will work with you to resolve the problem.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, this may include repairing or replacing the digital content or providing an appropriate refund or price reduction.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
4. PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT AS DESCRIBED
If you believe that a product you have purchased is materially different from the description given on the relevant sales page, please contact us at:
hello@rebalanceandrestoremethod.com
We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, provide a remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
5. ONLINE COURSES AND COACHING PROGRAMMES
Cancellation rights for courses and coaching programmes may depend on the nature of the service and when performance begins.
Where you purchase a course or coaching programme, the relevant sales page will explain what is included and, where applicable, when the programme begins.
If you ask us to begin providing a service during a statutory cancellation period, you may be asked to expressly request that the service begins before the cancellation period has ended.
Where applicable, if you subsequently cancel after the service has begun, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service that has already been provided, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Where a service has been fully performed following your express request and acknowledgement where required by law, your statutory cancellation right may no longer apply.
6. VOLUNTARY REFUNDS
In addition to your statutory rights, Rebalance & Restore may sometimes offer a discretionary refund or other remedy.
Any discretionary refund is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not create an ongoing entitlement to refunds in similar circumstances.
A discretionary refund does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
7. HOW REFUNDS ARE MADE
Where a refund is agreed or legally required, we will normally refund the payment using the original payment method.
We will not normally charge a fee for processing a refund where the refund is required by law.
The timing of the refund may depend on the payment provider or bank used by the customer.
8. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
We welcome customers from outside the United Kingdom.
Where you purchase from outside the UK, mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence may provide you with additional rights.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted in your country.

10. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

It does not replace or restrict your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where there is any conflict between this policy and a mandatory legal right that applies to you, the applicable legal right will prevail.
